Established in June 2002, Nicholson Fine Foods is an artisan food company that creates and develops an eclectic range of innovative food products for professional chefs and home cooks. The original recipes for gourmet fruit finishing vinegars and Belgian chocolate mousses are a tribute to the combination of quality ingredients and rich, full flavours. Creator Peter Nicholson’s background is as a chef with 30 years of experience in Australia, Switzerland and France. He has many awards and qualifications including Apprentice of the Year Tasmania, Chefs Certificate and Certificate 3 Small Business Management, just to name a few.
Most famed for their Euro Style Spiced Beetroot Finishing Vinegar, Nicholson Fine foods is holder of five Australian Champion Trophies and is the current Savoury Food Champion Sydney Royal and Royal Hobart Show champion. The high quality of the products produced speak for themselves, with countless awards recieved every year in Australia and overseas including the National Champion Royal Hobart Fine Food Shows 2008 and 2010 and gold medals in Melbourne Hobart and Sydney Royal shows 2008 2009 and 2010, just to name a few.
